Walls are weak,
my word is my armor.

Knives are dull,
my acts are my weapon.

Thought is blind,
my faith is my vision.

Love is fierce,
so is the heart,
so is the Way.

This poem reminds me of the Scripture: "Those who are led by the Spirit shall be called sons."

The Holy Ghost is like the wind: you don't know exactly where it comes from or where it goes. And it is the same with those who are led by the Holy Ghost--sometimes you don't know exactly where you are going--and, of course, people don't know where you are coming from--they are confounded by your life of obedience to the Lord.

Tim Shey said...

"Love, anchor
yet not to the ways
of the shore;
for waves come
and ever, I
must move
as the sea
and when currents call
so shall I leave
so shall I leave"

I love this; this is absolutely beautiful.

There is a line from a poem by Robert Frost: "miles before I sleep, miles before I sleep."

This reminds me of my own life:

"I
must move
as the sea
and when currents call
so shall I leave
so shall I leave"

You have so much talent. Your words are very inspiring. Must be the breath of God.
